2016 Weekend to Remember Information
Each year, HALO for Freedom Warrior Foundation hosts our Weekend to Remember. This program brings together 30 wounded warriors from across the country for a weekend they will never forget. Activities throughout the three-day event range from a 2,000 sq. foot US flag parachute jump, tandem skydiving, day and night hunting, a shooting competition including shotguns, rifles, and pistols.
The Weekend to remember was completed with our annual Warriors’ Night Out Gala on Saturday, April 2nd. Our Warriors, sponsors, and distinguished guests experienced a true Texas style dinner, music, and a gambling casino night at River Ranch located in the historic Fort Worth Stockyards in Fort Worth, TX. All monies raised was underwritten for the travel, hotel, meals, and miscellaneous expenses for our participating warriors and support Boulder Crest Retreat for Military and Veteran Wellness.
